Best 5 Picks Of Inspirational Movies
These are the best movies that not only entertain us but also inspire us:
1. The Secret
The Secret is a film that teaches self-help about the Law of Attraction, positive thinking, and positive thinking. This film is more documentary than fiction. The Law of Attraction (LoA), refers to the belief that your subconscious and conscious thoughts can have an impact on your life’s outcomes. The Secret was a huge success and has been featured on Oprah and Larry King among many other mainstream media.
When The Secret first came out, I was a fan. It was 2006, and I was just starting to learn about LoA. Later, I discovered more about LoA through blogs and began to love it more. The concept of LoA is synchronization with many other things that I have concluded from my experiences, so watching the movie was more of an affirmation.
The movie made me feel more awake than usual. This movie can help you shift your consciousness. Don’t let yourself become a self-help addict. Self-help is intended to enhance what you are doing and not replace your actions.
Many LoA opponents believe LoA is a hoax. However, I believe their criticism stems more from an understanding of LoA’s workings. LoA is not about expecting the world to change once you begin to think positively. It’s about taking positive action, thinking positively, and then seeing your goals become a reality because your thoughts and actions are in sync. Someone who thinks negatively but takes lots of action is self-destructive because his thoughts are out of sync.

2. Groundhog Day
Groundhog Day tells the story of Bill Murray, an arrogant TV meteorologist who is stuck in a loop that repeats the same day over again. Worst part? The worst part? He uses the time loop to his advantage at first. He begins to evaluate his priorities and life after a while.
This movie is really fascinating. It doesn’t matter that the cause of the time loop has never been explained. This movie was released in 1993, so it is not new. Groundhog Day contains deep messages that might not be obvious to you on your first viewing. The interpretation of these messages depends on who is watching. The movie doesn’t actually discuss the lessons it is trying to teach, but they are intended to be implicitly observed by you and interpreted by your eyes.
Without spoilers, notice Phil Connors’s reaction to every scene. It changes as the movie progresses. Notice how his reactions affect the reactions of others. As Phil continues to relive each day, it is clear that his motivations and reactions change as he realizes that no matter what, he will always be there.
What can you do with an eternity of life? Is Phil ever able to get out of the loop? You’ll find out by watching.
One person in a forum compared Phil’s story with the path most people take in life. They are bound to repeat the same problems until they have the insight to solve them. It was also compared to the path to reincarnation where people are forced to live a lot until they learn the lesson and then ascend on their own. Both interpretations were fascinating to me and I can agree with them.
3. The Bucket List
The Bucket List tells the story of Jack Nicholson (and Morgan Freeman), two terminally ill men who meet in a hospital following being diagnosed with lung carcinoma. They become close friends through their treatment. They plan to go on a trip to accomplish their bucket lists, which is a list of things that they would like to do before they die.
Although I haven’t seen The Bucket List, I have read about it elsewhere. Personally, I love the idea of having a bucket list and writing a few posts about it.

4. Space Jam
Space Jam was something I loved as a child and it is still a favorite of mine. It’s a timeless classic. It’s a simple story: the Monstars, the bad guys, defeat the Looney Tunes (the good guys) in a game of basketball at the start. The Looney Tunes then go through hard training to win in the end. Michael Jordan plays himself as he is “kidnapped by Looney Tunes” to help them succeed.
Although it may seem absurd to include a movie such as Space Jam on my list, the film’s greatest asset is its simplicity. It teaches the value of friendship, persistence, never giving up, hard work, self-belief, determination, and persistence. The opening shares Jordan’s childhood with his Dad and then it transitions to the present-day Michael. It was amazing. I had goosebumps just watching it. R Kelly’s I Believe I Can Fly, by R Kelly is the perfect soundtrack to the movie.
The film’s middle section (when Bugs & Daffy are at Michael’s house), contains a joke about pirates. I laughed when I heard it. It’s worth watching to see.
5. The Lion King
The Lion King is a timeless classic, and the best-animated film ever made. Although there are many 3-D films out today, all of which are excellent in their own ways, none can match The Lion King for authenticity. The theater was still open when The Lion King was released. My parents took me and my brother on a movie trip when I was only 10. Childhood memories! 😀
Rent/buy/borrow a copy of The Lion King and enjoy it. It’s probably been viewed at least 6 times. The second quarter is my favorite part of the film. I can’t help but cry at the end. The film is still moving me every time I watch it. It is a story of love, responsibility, and strength.
These movies remind us why movies can have a positive impact on their life. So keep watching such movies with your family and friends.
